The client

Akwan is a podcast and music app.

The challenge

A large catalogue of shows had to be easy to browse by category, quick to search, and pleasant to listen to, in two languages.

Structure

  1. Splash · Log in · Sign up
  2. Home
  3. CategoriesBusiness · Kids · and more
  4. Search
  5. Favorites
  6. Downloads
  7. Podcast playerinfo · episodes · details
  8. Settings

The interface

A vivid purple-to-pink brand around show artwork. A small system carries the app: K2D for Latin and Cairo for Arabic, one button set, gradient headers, a bottom nav bar, filled and light icon sets, and a podcast player in full and mini sizes.
